Although IT remains an integral part of strategies to defend against cyber-attacks, cybersecurity is no longer an IT issue. A robust cybersecurity strategy needs to be centered around managing business risk, encompassing key elements such as regulatory, legal and investor obligations, supplier and vendor management and employee awareness.
This is especially critical in respect of ransomware attacks, which are growing in volume and sophistication. In addition to defensive measures, organizations must be prepared for the possibility of an attack penetrating their systems, and develop a clear process on how to respond, minimizing the damage caused.
In this in-person breakfast briefing, a panel of cybersecurity experts will offer advice on creating a high-level cybersecurity strategy, as well as outlining key risks and mitigation strategies. There will also be a special focus on how to respond to ransomware incidents effectively. This session is both aimed at organizations that already have a full cybersecurity plan in place and those are only just beginning to pull one together.
Join this interactive session to discuss:
- Common mistakes organizations make in their cybersecurity strategies
- What areas should be included to create a robust cybersecurity strategy
- What makes a good ransomware response action plan
