It's that time of year again. As the rain cruelly chucks itself at our office windows in Richmond, I'm reminded that summer (or what we've had of it) is starting to surrender itself to Autumn, which means that our Virtual Conferences are on the horizon.
Our Infosecurity 2011 UK Autumn Virtual Conference schedule has now been released, and we have some treats in store for you. As always, we have kept our editorial programme as vendor-neutral as possible, with the exception of one or two irresistible gems (take a look at the conference programme and you'll know what - and who - I mean).
I've got the pleasure of moderating two of the sessions - one on infosecurity careers, how to get to that all-important role of CISO, and one on the ecrime industry. I've recruited some of my favourite industry professionals to speak on these panels - most of which I've written profiles on in the past - and I'm confident that they'll make your attendance more than worth your while.
Other themes of the conference include secure app development, governance and compliance, APT (and perhaps more AET),responsible data breach disclosure, and tablet security within the enterprise.
We've worked really hard to pull together the industry's finest to deliver relevant and exclusive information to you, our deserving readers.
So, do yourself a favour and put our conference in your diary - 27th September, 9-5. You can register for this event for free here. And yes, it's relatively painless: http://vshow.on24.com/vshow/infosec2011/registration/1723?partnerref=fall#
Sign up, come along, meet us all (virtually) and arm yourself with the tools you need to do your jobs even better. Best of all, you can wear your slippers! I know I will!
'See' you all on the 27th.
