Capgemini and Sogeti team up on software testing

According to Capgemini and Sogeti, as part of their enhanced service they have created a 'testing centre of excellence' in India, with around 2100 dedicated testers.

Plans call for the integrated testing services to provide organisations with a proven and structured approach to software quality assurance and testing, underpinned by the group's own structured methodology, TMAP (Test Management Approach).

The main target of TMAP is provide the user of the methodology with a complete software testing guide based on four main strands - adaptation, toolcase (toolbox), business-driven test management and structured testing.

According to Bob Scott, vice president of business development with Capgemini's global testing team, it is imperative that organisations are able to deploy new systems and develop new applications quicker than ever, whilst being sure that they can do so with full confidence.

"In the UK we are working with more and more clients to do exactly that with our testing services, giving them the assurance they seek while reducing costs and speeding time to market", he said.

"The combined knowledge and experience of both Capgemini and Sogeti can only enhance the reputations of our clients", he added.
