In a Feb. 11 Federal Register notice, the DHS is seeking public comment on the data collection forms that will be used for the CyberForensics Electronic Technology Clearinghouse (CyberFETCH) program.
The clearinghouse will enable users from law enforcement, private industry, and academia to share information, best practices, and lessons learned within a secure collaborative environment. To join CyberFETCH, an individual must complete a registration form that will be used to determine eligibility.
Once a user is approved, he or she will be able to use the collaborative environment to upload documents and resources, exchange information, network with other users, and post blogs and comments.
The CyberFETCH web site will use secure web-based technology (i.e., electronic registration form) to collect information from users to both reduce the burden and increase the efficiency of this collection, the notice explained.
