According to Eset, the latest move underlines its strategy of solidifying its position as a premier developer of security software.
Infosecurity notes that Comdom Software is Eset's second acquisition since 2008 when it purchased Czech-based company Setrnet, expanding its offering to information security service.
"Eset is a research and development-oriented company that is going to benefit from this merger by tapping into the potential of this manufacturer of advanced antispam solutions", said Miroslav Trnka, Eset's CEO.
"Building on the team of skilled programmers and researchers, we envision introducing new capabilities, along with injecting new potential into the development of security software", he added.
