What's interesting about Native Client is that it allows users to run native x86 code on the web - something that some experts say is unwise when interacting with untrusted and non-authenticated internet
resources.
Google claims its challenge aims to make Native Client more secure and there are five cash prizes up for grabs: The first prize is $8,192 (£6000), the second prize $4,096 (£3000), the third prize is $2,048 (£1500), the fourth and fifth prize are $1,024 (£750).
Interested parties can register now for the contest, which runs May until midnight on 5 May this year.
