The three-day event, says the not-for-profit IT security association, will offer a fresh perspective on today's challenges and future trends, including PCI DSS compliance, cloud computing and data loss prevention.
With a mixture of industry professionals and end user case studies, this year's line-up is billed as featuring a variety of speakers, including representatives from the PCI Council, Deloitte and Touche, Emirates General Petroleum Corp, Telefonica and Visa, all sharing their invaluable insight and expertise. Perhaps more crucially, says the association, the presenters will share their experiences of overcoming these hurdles.
Commenting on the plans for the event, Ramses Gallego, CISM, CGEIT, a security strategist with Quest Software and member of ISACA's guidance and practices committee, said that the conference is designed to meet the exact needs of information security and risk management professionals.
“The intelligence they will receive over the three days is unrivalled and covers topics that are of key concern to IT professionals and their employers. Security is on the C-level agenda and it has to provide tangible value to the business. We need to face this challenge together”, he said.
ISACA students attending the event will gain 32 CPE credits.
