Darren has been involved with data protection regulation his whole career. This started back in 1984 when he wrote and changed computer systems to comply with the original UK Data Protection Act.
A former Data Protection Officer, Darren has overseen the implementation of business and IT processes that handle personal data.
He speaks regularly at events about data protection, information security, cyber security and IT leadership. Darren has also published several books about IT and data protection including "The Little Book of GDPR: Getting on the Path to Compliance".
