Dr. Tom Halverson has been a Computer Science faculty member at Dakota State University since 1999. He received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. He is committed to all facets of student success and focuses on teaching, student engagement, and out-of-class projects. Tom teaches a variety of undergraduate courses from entry to advanced level. He is the DSU Computer Club advisor and encourages students to participate in service activities. His research interests include smart home technologies and software development.
