Duncan McAlynn is a Principal Security Engineer and Evangelist at Ivanti. He has worked for the company since 2015, and before this had experience working with the FBI (InfraGard) and Microsoft across the span of his twenty year career. Duncan is a six times Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award recipient – he received this recognition for his significant contributions to the Microsoft System Center community. In recent years, he has turned his focus to InfoSec, and with relentless passion he helps protect and defend corporations, government agencies and learning institutions against modern threats.
He is a published author and technical editor for several books, as well as being a media spokesperson and public speaker. He is currently a member of FBI InfraGard, ISSA, & ISACA.
