Evelyn has over 26 years of experience in IT Security. Evelyn holds a master’s degree in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Evelyn is a Senior Technical Staff Member, which is the highest non-executive technical role within IBM.
Known as a Trusted Advisor and Thought Leader from end-users to executives for Evelyn’s expertise in privacy, cybersecurity, security regulations and risk management has traveled globally to develop cutting edge solutions.
Evelyn has served across Global Technology Service Delivery organization as the global leader for Identity & Access Management, Security, Regulatory, and Risk Management, Physical Security, System Currency and Infrastructure Protection where she led the design of a global framework to standardize delivery, automate controls and reduce security risks for IBM and Clients.
Evelyn is also an IBM Master Inventor which is IBM’s highest distinction for an inventor. Evelyn has 18 patents issued and 27 additional patents pending filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In 2016, Evelyn won the Women of Color (WOC) STEM Award in Technical Innovation. And she has been honored with various awards in IBM and industry badges.
Evelyn is a member of ISACA previously Information Systems Audit and Control Association®, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
Evelyn has professional certifications in Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a Certified Architect.
