John Shaw joined Sophos in 2003. As vice president of product management for end user security, John is responsible for all Sophos mobile, encryption and endpoint protection products. Previously, John led product management for Sophos’ endpoint product line. He then spent two years running global and product marketing before assuming his current role.
Prior to Sophos, John was at Microsoft Corporation where he served as product planning manager. He also led product marketing and business planning for two Cambridge, UK-based technology startups, Ionica and Entropic. John began his career in technology marketing and product management at IBM, then spent five years as a management consultant with Arthur D. Little.
John has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computation from Oxford University and an MSc in advanced information technology from Imperial College London.
