Jon Condra currently serves as the Director of Strategic and Persistent Threats within Recorded Future’s Insikt Group, leading research into state-sponsored cyber threat activity, with a particular focus on China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Previously, Jon worked at several other cyber threat intelligence vendors, including Symantec, Flashpoint, and iDefense, researching a variety of topics including global hacktivism, cybercrime, and geopolitical events. Jon is a graduate of Georgetown University’s graduate program in Security Studies and Gettysburg College, where he specialized in political science and international relations. Jon speaks Mandarin Chinese and has studied and traveled in East Asia extensively.
