Jon is a CISSP and has more than 25 years of experience building and leading diverse technology and security teams, setting and executing strategy and delivering programs that empower stakeholders and operations while effectively managing risk across media and telecommunications sectors.

Focusing on raising resilience of the broader tech ecosystem, the systems and architectures that are used and the data that flows through it, ultimately protecting the users and consumers.
Prior to joining (ISC)² Lead the industry security function at GSMA, a member lead organization representing Mobile Operators and the wider telecommunications industry. Responsible for ensuring that the mobile sector anticipated and addressed security and fraud threats across the mobile ecosystem by working closely with operators, vendors, governments, regulators, standards bodies and industry leadership.
