Luke Kiely serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for GetBusy and SmartVault, where he leads the group's global information security, compliance, and risk management programs.
Prior to joining GetBusy and SmartVault, Luke spent 13 years in law enforcement. This period was marked by involvement in both covert and overt operations and specializing in Cyber Crime. As a Detective, he played a crucial role in investigating a spectrum of online criminal activities, including Fraud, Blackmail, Extortion, and the creation and dissemination of Malware/Ransomware. Notably, Luke also was involved in efforts to combat the online abuse of children.
Transitioning from law enforcement to the private sector, Luke brought a unique perspective to managed services. Has involved in the delivery of security operations, incident response, and security consultancy across a diverse range of industries including critical national infrastructure, telecommunications, the public sector, and finance.
