Malcolm Portelli

Malcolm has been working in the technology space for almost 20 years but has been interested in the subject from an early age, assembling his own PCs and fiddling with electronics as a teenager. Starting his career in more technical roles such as systems administration and analysis, he later specialised in Information Security, which he still does today leading the Information Security function and strategic direction as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at fintech startup, Andaria. When he is not being passionate about security, Malcolm works on the board of trustees of a local mental health charity, Walk & Talk, and runs an online portal called Malta Virtual Mall with his close friend and business partner. He also enjoys spending down-time with his family and friends, listening to and making music, and exploring the world with his wife and daughter.
