Matan Scharf is a cybersecurity specialist who has spent over 18 years researching, developing and integrating solutions for the enterprise market. He has extensive experience serving Israeli defense agencies, financial institutes and startup companies. In his years as a serial entrepreneur, Scharf founded several startup companies in automotive cybersecurity and mobile user identification.
In 2018, Scharf joined Synopsys as manager of automotive solutions. In this role, he is charged with bringing the Synopsys Software Integrity portfolio to the automotive market and enabling vehicle manufacturers and their providers to produce safe, secure and reliable software products.
Scharf held several senior managerial roles at Check Point and was a major contributor to its official certifications. He currently serves as strategic advisor for Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC) at Tel Aviv University.
