As the first Director of Jersey Cyber Security Centre, Matt is responsible for Jersey’s cyber defence, overseeing the strategic direction of JCSC to promote and improve cyber resilience across critical national infrastructure, businesses, communities, and citizens. He is the founder of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum and a Commissioner at the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Matt is a recognised leader in cyber security and financial services, having served as CISO for some of the world’s leading financial institutions and advised both countries and corporations. He has won multiple awards, including being named Security Leader of the Year and in CSO Online's top 30 Chief Information Security Officers.
