Rich is a technology industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience in a diverse range of roles from sales and marketing to product management and strategic planning. In his current role as Vice President of Security Solutions at Ipswitch, he helps companies achieve internal and external compliance with security and privacy regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, SOX and GDPR across a range of industries.
Past work experience leveraging his educational background (BSME, University of Massachusetts and MBA, University of Bridgeport) includes stints at Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, United Technologies and Hewlett Packard and smaller technology firms including SolidWorks and Avatech Solutions.
As the founder of several technology and publishing companies, Rich has helped hundreds of companies improve their productivity through better use of technology in areas such as networking, CAD, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and most recently Secure File Transfer and Security Solutions.
Rich has spoken at trade shows, user groups and other events around the world for the past 10 years and is an accomplished author with over 10 technical publications to his credit as well as blog posts on product management, cybersecurity and file transfer.
