Rob Russell is one of Rackspace’s foremost managed cyber-security experts with over 13 years of experience across a range of sectors. In his role he is responsible for monitoring and detection services, providing round the clock rapid response and remediation and oversees backup and disaster recovery support.
Over the course of his career, Rob has not only protected businesses but also assisted them to comply with numerous industry standards – from ISO to PCI and GDPR. He also advises Rackspace clients on the development of effective Security Operation Centres (SOC).
Prior to joining Rackspace Rob worked at firms such as NTT Security and Dimension Data UKI. He also blogged extensively on the cause and effect of the world's most high profile hacks at Hackarma.
