Rolf von Roessing, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, is a partner at Forfa Consulting AG and past international vice president of ISACA.
Rolf has been active as a volunteer within various ISACA committees and task forces since 2005. He has published extensively on business continuity management, disaster recovery, crisis management and security matters.
Most recently, he authored Implementing the General Data Protection Regulation, published by ISACA in 2018.
Rolf has worked as a consultant with large international banks and insurance companies and was responsible for international projects in business continuity management and information security, working for EY, KPMG and his own firm since 2009. Prior to entering the consulting sector, he was head of IT for the EMEA region in a leading global security firm.
He is a former member of the Board of Directors at the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), where he served from 2001-2008 and held the position of chair of the Audit Committee from 2003-2008. He was also active in various standardization initiatives, including expert membership of the Austrian Standard Institute from 2001 to 2014.
