Simon Walsh has worked in the IT security industry for 16 years, the last eight of which he has spent with Trend Micro. He is currently a Senior Sales Engineer working out of Trend Micro's Operations Centre in Cork, Ireland, responsible for providing awareness and guidance regarding Trend Micro's entire security portfolio to customers, partners and anyone else interested in understanding the current IT and threat landscape and how best to thrive in it.
Simon is an accomplished and experienced presenter and public speaker and has spoken at numerous industry-related events to diverse audiences on topics such as Cloud Security Best Practice, Targeted Attack Defence and IT Security Trends.
Simon is a dedicated and passionate volunteer in Trend Micro's Internet Safety for Kids and Families program, a law graduate, computer science post graduate, and holder of CCNA, CISA and CISSP professional qualifications.
